About Me
Anna is the kind of physiotherapist who doesn't just treat symptoms—she listens to your story, learns what actually matters to you, and builds a plan that fits your life.
Originally from Australia, Anna trained at the University of Queensland before working across the public healthcare system in various states. It was there, working on the Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward and in outpatient clinics, that she fell in love with pelvic health. Over the past decade, she's worked in both private and public settings, building deep experience alongside obstetricians, gynaecologists, GPs, lactation consultants, and other specialists who help her provide truly holistic care.
Then she became a mum. That shift changed everything. Suddenly, she understood, in a completely new way, what it feels like to try to rehab a pelvic floor while running on four hours of sleep, juggling a baby, and wondering if she'd ever feel like herself again. That experience made her more empathetic, more patient, and even better at helping other parents navigate the same journey.
Anna doesn't believe in rushed appointments or one-size-fits-all treatment. She believes in building a safe, respectful relationship with every client—one where you feel heard, understood, and supported to reach whatever goal matters to you.
"I believe that understanding who you are—what matters to you, what your goals are, what your life actually looks like—is just as important as understanding your pelvic floor. When I work with you, we're a team. I bring clinical expertise. You bring the knowledge of your own body and life. Together, we figure out what works."
She also believes strongly in collaboration. Anna has spent years working alongside obstetricians, GPs, lactation consultants, and other specialists because she knows that the best outcomes happen when everyone is talking to each other.
She’s an Australian mum who now calls Hong Kong home. She has a genuine love of learning and is always building on her expertise through new certifications and skills. Outside of work, she’s happiest hiking or spending time at the beach, and she takes her coffee very seriously. Most of all, she loves being with her family, which means she completely understands the chaos of trying to fit rehab around parenting.
If you've been putting off that pelvic floor check, or you're navigating a prolapse and wondering what your life can look like, or you're pregnant and want to go into birth feeling prepared—Anna would love to see you.
She practices in Hong Kong and books are open.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Not at all. In fact, it's never too late. Anna sees clients who are six weeks postpartum, six years postpartum, and even sixty years postpartum. Your body can change and heal at any stage—you don't have to live with leaks, pain, or that "something's not quite right" feeling forever.
-
Yes, absolutely. Birth preparation is one of Anna's favourite things to do. She'll help you understand how to work with your pelvic floor during labour, practice positions that reduce the risk of tearing, and give you confidence going into birth. She loves when birthing partners also attend appointments, so that both mum and partner are calm, confident and empowered heading into labour. Knowledge really is power here.
-
Anna will start by asking you about your goals, your history, and what's been going on. She might look at your posture, how you breathe, and how you move. If a pelvic floor assessment is recommended, Anna will give you options as to what you’re most comfortable with, and she'll explain exactly what she's doing and why. You're in control the whole time. Most clients leave feeling relieved that it wasn't as awkward as they feared.
-
Yes, and Anna takes a team approach. She works alongside lactation consultants and GPs to make sure you're getting comprehensive care. She looks at posture, positioning, timing and the way you're feeding - the whole picture. Recurrent mastitis isn't something you just have to put up with.
-
A pessary is a small silicone device that sits inside the vagina to support prolapse. Think of it like a custom-fit internal support bra. When fitted well, you don't feel it and it should alleviate your symptoms. You can wear it while swimming, exercising, and living your life. Anna has undertaken further training in pessary management and works alongside gynecologists to determine whether a pessary may be a good option for you.
-
Not so fast. This is one of Anna's biggest pet peeves. A "weak" pelvic floor isn't always weak—sometimes it's tight and can't relax properly, or it's working overtime because your breathing or posture is off. Doing Kegels when you don't need them can actually make things worse. Anna will assess what's actually going on before giving you any exercises.
-
Yes, and Anna has advanced training specifically in this area. She understands the physical and emotional impact of a significant tear. She'll help you recover safely, address any ongoing concerns, and work with you toward whatever goals you have—whether that's running again, having another baby, or just feeling comfortable in your body.
-
Absolutely not. This is one of the biggest myths Anna spends her time debunking. Prolapse doesn't mean the end of running, lifting, or living your life. It does mean you might need to approach things differently—and Anna will help you figure out what that looks like for you.
-
Generally no—you can book directly. Some insurance providers may require a referral for coverage, so it's worth checking with them first.
